Terms of Service for Houseify.AI

Welcome to Houseify.AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Houseify.AI mobile applications, web applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

Houseify.AI provides AI-powered interior design and home visualization tools, including but not limited to:

  • AI-generated room redesigns
  • Conversational design assistance
  • Style recommendations
  • Furniture and decor visualization
  • Budget estimation tools
  • Affiliate shopping recommendations
  • Mood board and image uploads
  • Project saving and editing features

The Services may evolve over time, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Account Registration

Some features require an account.

You may register using supported single sign-on providers, including:

  • Apple Sign-In
  • Google Sign-In

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activity occurring under your account
  • Promptly notifying us of unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free Tier and Subscription Plans

Houseify.AI may offer free and paid subscription tiers.

Free Tier

The free tier may include limited AI generations or edits. We may enforce usage limitations through device identification, account verification, or other anti-abuse measures.

Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions may unlock:

  • Additional or unlimited AI generations
  • Advanced editing capabilities
  • Higher resolution exports
  • Project history and storage
  • Premium design features

Pricing, billing cycles, and features may change over time.

5. Payments and Billing

Payments for subscriptions may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or app marketplace providers.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation.

Unless required by law:

  • Payments are non-refundable
  • Partial billing periods are not prorated
  • Promotional pricing may be temporary

You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Services rely on artificial intelligence systems and third-party AI providers.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies or unexpected results
  • Generated designs are for visualization and inspiration purposes only
  • Houseify.AI does not guarantee architectural, engineering, construction, or safety accuracy
  • Measurements, layouts, furniture fit, and budget estimates may not reflect real-world conditions

You should independently verify any design, purchasing, renovation, or construction decisions before implementation.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the images, prompts, designs, and other content you upload ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant Houseify.AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Host and store the content
  • Process the content for AI generation
  • Improve and operate the Services
  • Generate derivative AI outputs

You represent that:

  • You own or have permission to upload the content
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party rights
  • Your content does not violate any laws

8. AI Training and Data Usage

By default, Houseify.AI may use anonymized and aggregated User Content to improve AI systems, models, and Services.

Users may opt out of AI training usage through account settings where available.

We will not intentionally disclose personally identifiable interior photos publicly without consent.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • Upload harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringing content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform
  • Circumvent subscription or usage limitations
  • Use automated systems to scrape or overload the Services
  • Upload malware or malicious code
  • Misrepresent generated designs as professional architectural certifications

We reserve the right to investigate and remove violating content or accounts.

10. Commerce and Affiliate Links

The Services may include affiliate product recommendations and links to third-party retailers.

Houseify.AI may receive commissions from purchases made through these links.

We do not control third-party retailers and are not responsible for:

  • Product availability
  • Shipping
  • Pricing accuracy
  • Returns or warranties
  • Third-party services or products

Your transactions with third parties are solely between you and the retailer.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, branding, interfaces, logos, and proprietary technology, are owned by Houseify.AI or its licensors.

You may not:

  • Copy or distribute the Services
  • Modify platform code
  • Use our branding without permission
  • Create competing derivative services based on proprietary systems

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with third-party providers, including:

  • AI model providers
  • Payment processors
  • Affiliate commerce networks
  • Cloud infrastructure vendors

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and policies.

Houseify.AI is not responsible for third-party systems or interruptions caused by them.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

14. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Services may experience:

  • Downtime
  • Delays
  • Maintenance interruptions
  • AI processing failures
  • Third-party outages

We may modify or discontinue features without liability.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOUSEIFY.AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY
  • RELIABILITY

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE
  • GENERATED RESULTS WILL MEET EXPECTATIONS
  • OUTPUTS WILL BE UNIQUE OR FREE FROM INACCURACIES

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOUSEIFY.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • INDIRECT DAMAGES
  • LOST PROFITS
  • DATA LOSS
  • PROPERTY DAMAGE
  • BUSINESS INTERRUPTION
  • DESIGN OR RENOVATION DECISIONS BASED ON GENERATED OUTPUTS

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  • THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO HOUSEIFY.AI IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS, OR
  • USD $100

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Houseify.AI and its affiliates from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your uploaded content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of third-party rights

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We suspect fraud or abuse
  • Required by law
  • Necessary to protect the platform or users

You may stop using the Services at any time.

Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the jurisdiction where Houseify.AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable law.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, we may notify users through the Services or by other reasonable means.

Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

22. App Store Additional Terms

If you download the mobile application through Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that:

  • Apple and Google are not responsible for the Services

  • Marketplace providers may enforce additional platform rules

23. Professional Use Disclaimer

Houseify.AI is not a licensed architecture, engineering, or interior design firm.

Outputs generated by the Services do not constitute:

  • Architectural plans
  • Engineering advice
  • Building code compliance
  • Professional certifications

Professional users remain solely responsible for client deliverables and regulatory compliance.
